Miracle Loves her Jingle Bell
Miracle loves her jingle bell. She listens to the music she makes as she trots, and it makes her happy. The bell gets her attention, and suddenly it takes all her energy to get the beat just right and steady: jingle, steady, jingle. The bell is amazingly not loud—just musical—and Mira takes all the credit for every lovely note she makes. She understands she is music in motion; she just doesn’t know why it took so long for the melody to take form—for the music in her head to become the jingle on her harness ringing out and echoing back from the woods across the field.
